A 15 minute stroll from Kano Sari is the Ubud Central Market – which is really two markets, one for the locals, which starts around 4am and morphs into something much more tourist orientated around 9am. Whilst the tourist offering is extensive, colourful and fun (and will give your bargaining skills a workout, the local’s morning market will give you an authentic Balinese shopping experience and is worth the early start – all manner of food, fruit, flowers, offerings, pots, pans and utensils are bought and sold with speed and good humour.
