The Weather Report!
Bali is located about 8 degrees south of the equator. Therefore, you can expect a tropical, warm and humid climate all year round – with two main distinctive seasons: Dry Season (April – October) and Rainy Season (November-March).
Ubud is located on the lower slopes of Bali’s central mountains. Because of the slightly higher altitude the average temperature is a few degrees lower than on the coast. In the rainy season you will often experience tropical monsoon rain in the afternoon. These showers can be torrential, but usually last no more than an hour or two.
Weather-wise, the best time to visit Ubud is during June-July-August-September. The weather in July & August (peak season) is sunny and very warm during the day, and generally clear and cool in the evenings.
